First Impressions

Some great first impressions it turns out…

We just got back from San Francisco where our VP of Design, Stephen Anderson was speaking at the Adaptive Path MX conference.

“This is amazing. I’ve only tried for a couple of minutes… but this is wow! This is like having QuickLook on the Web. That alone was impressive.”

During and after the conference, we interviewed about a half-dozen people—and got fantastic feedback—most of it positive.

“I love your product, it rocks. would like to do more from the celebrity picture view page, such as adjusting angles of photos, adding photos, resizing photos and then printing.”

Also, here are some of the recent blog posts about Viewzi:

The negatives, of which there have been only a few, are mostly around two themes: speed and utility (obviously, two important issues). We are working on a number of core issues that should provide incremental speed improvements. This will be a work in progress though until we launch V1.

In addition, this week and next we are testing a handful of new ways of communicating more of the utilitarian pieces of Viewzi. We are pretty confident that the utility is there, but that there are a number of ways that the utility of the application can be better communicated.

This is just a stupid knock-off of certain already existing Vista features!

When did Ballmer become such a hater? <grin> Viewzi team: it’s gotta feel good to be on the Redmond-radar! <grinx2> Keep it going!

Congrats on a great product!!  I played around briefly this afternoon after receiving a beta invite - I only got to check out the image search and MP3 search in detail, but wow what a great concept and execution.  Only negative I could find was that it seemed a bit sluggish at times, but results were worth the wait and Im sure its something you’ll get fixed quickly.  Great job you guys!  Looking forward to your launch coming up shortly!
